Introducing Ripples@Work
Venture-Learning:

An Innovative Way of Learning

Ripples @WorkVenture Learning introduces a unique learning system.
Our platform reflects the dynamics of the modern, globalized digital world, offering a pioneering approach to education.

Developed by a seasoned high school teacher who holds a PhD and is a published author, our system incorporates innovative teaching strategies for interdisciplinary collaboration and redefines interactions between teachers, students, and their environments. Embedded within the R@W website, our social media network transforms these dynamics into startup contests of learning and innovation.

Designed for students aged 15 to 18, our program enables them to integrate their existing knowledge and talents with our resourceful, technology-driven methods. Comprehensive training for high school educators is included in the model, essential for ensuring smooth implementation of contests and development of startup projects.

What we offer:

Teacher Training

Embark on a journey of professional development with our series of four 1.5-hour workshops. These sessions acquaint educators with the R@W model, enabling them to effectively guide students during ventures. Teachers gain insights into the latest pedagogical strategies and tools, equipping them to not only adapt but also excel in diverse educational environments.

Clear and Comprehensive Contests Structure

Our contests feature a structured, yet comprehensive framework with predefined milestones for teams to achieve. Each milestone unlocks the ability for ongoing knowledge development and enhances interpersonal skills, empowering students to thrive in real-world scenarios.

Distinct Ventures (Contests)
Emulating Real-life Startup Ventures

Dive into our digital realm where teachers can assemble teams of 5-7 students, each assuming roles akin to those found in a startup—such as researcher, influencer, and manager. Choose from a variety of ventures that simulate different types of startups, or request to create your own, offering students a dynamic learning experience.

Access to the R@W Ecosystem

Gain access to our dynamic R@W ecosystem. This includes working both in teams and individually across various digital platforms, as well as our own website-integrated social media network. Thus, experience a contemporary phenomenon of participatory culture — the alternative to consumer culture — where collaboration and individual contributions shape the community.

Continuous Support for Teachers,
Team Leaders and Students

Receive ongoing guidance and support from our team throughout the duration of the contest, ensuring a seamless, enriching, and exciting learning experience for both educators and students.

How Students Benefit from Engaging with Ripples@Work Venture Learning

Individual Agency

Startup Logic

Essential Skills

Multimodal Folio

Participating in R@W Startup competitions cultivates individual agency by developing an independent system of feedback loopsaction, reflection, and readjustment.
This process empowers young people to effectively use their unique strengths within ever-changing life circumstances to achieve their goals.

Practicing startup logic and the principle of validated learning through simulations that closely mirror real-life scenarios equips students with the competency to use cutting-edge technology for innovation and self-sufficiency, enabling them to create new jobs for themselves and others.

R@W serves as a dynamic training ground for the strategic practice of skills highly valued by employers. These skills are actively applied to foster innovation, transforming them into practical capabilities.
In R@W, they include: critical self-reflection, multimodal communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and DIY creativity.

Engagement in the R@W Startup venture results in each student producing a digital multimodal folio.
These folios, demonstrating competencies and skills in simulations that closely mimic real-life situations, speak more effectively than traditional grades or references when applying to colleges/universities, or for job opportunities.
